| HFH of Jefferson County celebrated its 30th year of operations with a fantastic fundraiser on March 6, 2009. The affiliate's first annual Mr. Habitat contest was a smashing success and definitely lived up to expectations. The affiliate's official anniversary was on October 23, 2008, but due to hurricane Ike, celebrations were postponed to the spring.
